Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services within King County, WA. The Occupational Therapist will support students receiving special education and related services by evaluating needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Key Details:
- Pay: $60-65/hr
- Hours: Full time and Part time available - Monday through Friday, no weekends/holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student achievement.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, materials, and strategies to meet student needs.
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license.
- Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- New grads welcome!
Work Environment:
This position is based in a school setting and requires regular interaction with students, staff, and families. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing occasional lifting and movement of equipment.
