Position Summary
A Parents as Teachers National Center ( PATNC ) certified parent educator provides the information, support, and encouragement that the parents need to help their child develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. This is done by providing education in the form of personal visits, group meetings, screenings, and linkages to a network of resources for parents and children. This position will also plan future program implementations based on feedback and program evaluations.

- Responsible for serving the number of families determined by program guidelines by independently planning, coordinating, and delivering face-to-face educational visits and group educational meetings.

- Complete all required documentation regarding home visits, attendance records for group meetings and other Parents as Teachers events, screening summaries, and all essential records required by the program, in timely and comprehensive manner.
