How you'll make an impact in this role

• Perform advanced cardiac imaging procedures(both routine and complex) to provide physicians with the critical diagnostic data needed to design accurate patient treatment plans.

• Maneuver and optimize specialized imaging equipmentand transducers with precision, ensuring the highest quality visualization of cardiac structures.

• Identify critical pathologies, artifacts, and structural anomaliesin real-time, escalating urgent findings promptly to safeguard patient health.

• Maintain rigorous safety and quality control standardsacross all equipment and procedures to guarantee a safe, compliant, and reliable environment for every patient.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Registry Eligible Radiation Therapist specializing in Cardiac Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. ARDMS registered in adult echo or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must achieve registered status within 6 months of hire.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Competency&Credentialing Institute (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School plus specialized training in Echocardiography required. Associate's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• Previous work experience in Adult or Pediatric Echo preferred.
