As a Charter & Activities Bus Driver, you'll transport students, school groups, athletic teams, and other passengers to sporting events, field trips, competitions, special activities, and community events.

No two trips are necessarily the same.

You don't necessarily need to already have a Commercial Driver's License.

Paid CDL training is available for qualified applicants.

We'll help you develop the professional driving skills and knowledge necessary to earn the required CDL Class B license and bus endorsements.

You bring the willingness to learn.

We'll provide the training.

And you'll be paid while you train.
Drive to Sporting Events, Field Trips & Special Activities

What You'll Do

Safely transport students, athletic teams, school groups, and passengers to scheduled events and activities.

Follow assigned trip schedules and transportation instructions.

Plan routes using navigation tools.

Monitor traffic, construction, road conditions, and weather.

Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Maintain a clean, fueled, safe, and properly functioning vehicle.

Follow applicable transportation, safety, and DOT requirements.

Communicate professionally with students, coaches, teachers, school staff, and passengers.

Provide excellent customer service throughout each trip.

Report vehicle or safety concerns promptly.

Represent DS Bus Lines with professionalism, courtesy, and pride.

A valid driver's license with at least three years of driving history is required.

Applicants must be able to meet applicable CDL, physical, background check, drug screening, and other employment requirements.

CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements is preferred but not required. Paid CDL training is available for qualified applicants.
