Description

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Memphis is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2027. Qualified candidates in all areas of computer science are invited, while candidates with core expertise in AI/ML, including computer vision, deep fakes, LLMs, robotics, AI-assisted software engineering, and cybersecurity, as well as quantum computing are particularly encouraged to apply.

The University is a Carnegie R1 research university and successful candidates are expected to develop externally sponsored research programs and to lead or participate in collaborative research projects within Computer Science and beyond. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
