Company Overview

Riverview School District, located in the beautiful lower Snoqualmie Valley, 25 miles east of Seattle, encompasses the communities of Duvall, Carnation and surrounding areas. The area’s quiet charm and friendly ways, coupled with easy access to the urban amenities of Redmond, Bellevue, Woodinville and Issaquah, make it one of the most desirable places to live in the Puget Sound region. The District covers approximately 250 square miles and serves more than 3,000 students.

The Riverview community is deeply invested in our school district. We see this investment through the successful passing of levies and bonds, the participation of hundreds of parent volunteers, and effective partnerships with local businesses and non-profit organizations. We enjoy the support of the Riverview Education Foundation, which generates financial and community support, further enhancing educational opportunities for our students. Each school has an active PTSA, enabling parents to share in the advocacy and experiences which benefit our schools. The District also engages community members, employees and other stakeholders in district goal setting and strategic planning. We believe these positive relationships lead to a broader lens and stronger connection, which contribute to the success of our students.

Riverview School District is a place where all students can thrive. We maintain a deep commitment to inclusionary practices, PBIS and MTSS, and offer robust and effective specialized programs such as Special Education, Reading and Math enrichment, Highly Capable, Multilingual Learning, Career and Technical Education, a home school/parent partnership through the Riverview Learning Center, AP and Honors. There are more than 40 clubs available to our students, in addition to athletics and enrichment activities. Riverview strives to become a national model of educational excellence.
