About Our Client

Job Description

Investment Research & Analysis

• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies across Hong Kong, U.S., and China markets.
• Analyze business models, competitive dynamics, management quality, industry structures, and long-term growth drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Generate investment ideas and support the evaluation of potential opportunities.

Investment Reporting

• Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, research reports, and presentation materials for the founder and investment team.
• Monitor portfolio positions and provide updates on earnings, industry developments, and company-specific events.
• Track and evaluate investment theses and portfolio performance.

Industry & Market Intelligence

• Develop expertise across technology-related sectors, including AI, software, internet platforms, semiconductors, fintech, and digital consumer businesses.
• Stay abreast of market developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Conduct channel checks, expert calls, and management meeting preparation where appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

Preferred Experience

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in:
• Public equities investing (buy-side preferred)
• Equity research
• Investment banking
• Private equity
• Venture capital
• Strategy consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above from a leading university.
• Strong analytical, financial, and research capabilities.
• Excellent written communication and investment writing skills.
• Solid financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
• High intellectual curiosity and genuine passion for investing.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience covering technology, internet, AI, software, consumer technology, fintech, or healthcare sectors.
• Prior exposure to Hong Kong or U.S. equity markets.
• CFA qualification or candidacy.
• Personal interest or track record in investing.
