Paediatric Speech Pathologist (New Grads Welcome!)

Earn approx. $120–$140 per hour (inclusive of travel) + super, with a consistent caseload, minimal local travel, and genuine flexibility.

About the Role
You’ll support children and families across a range of communication needs, including:

• Speech sound disorders
• Language delays and disorders
• Fluency (stuttering)
• Social communication differences
• Early literacy and phonological awareness
• Literacy 
• Developmental conditions
• Orofacial myofunctional disorders

Your role will include:

• Conducting assessments and setting meaningful, functional goals
• Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy
• Building strong, long-term relationships with families
• Collaborating with educators and allied health professionals
• Keeping admin simple—notes and essential client paperwork only

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Current membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable car
• Ability to manage a mobile paediatric caseload within a local area
• Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
• Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with families, daycares, schools, and teachers
• Ability to provide functional, holistic, and client-centred support for children with a range of communication needs, including neurodivergent and complex clients
• Motivated, proactive, and self-directed clinician
• Fun, engaging, and positive approach to working with children and families
• Values flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance
• Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, family-centred practice
