Paediatric Speech Pathologist (New Grads Welcome!)
Earn approx. $120–$140 per hour (inclusive of travel) + super, with a consistent caseload, minimal local travel, and genuine flexibility.

About the Role You’ll support children and families across a range of communication needs, including:
Speech sound disorders
Language delays and disorders
Fluency (stuttering)
Social communication differences
Early literacy and phonological awareness
Literacy
Developmental conditions
Orofacial myofunctional disorders
Your role will include:
Conducting assessments and setting meaningful, functional goals
Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy
Building strong, long-term relationships with families
Collaborating with educators and allied health professionals
Keeping admin simple—notes and essential client paperwork only

Requirements
Job Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
Current membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable car
Ability to manage a mobile paediatric caseload within a local area
Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and intervention
Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with families, daycares, schools, and teachers
Ability to provide functional, holistic, and client-centred support for children with a range of communication needs, including neurodivergent and complex clients
Motivated, proactive, and self-directed clinician
Fun, engaging, and positive approach to working with children and families
Values flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
Commitment to evidence-based, family-centred practice
