Sounds Fun Speech Pathology is expanding and we are seeking a committed clinician to join our family-centred, CALD-responsive service. Led by Senior Speech Pathologist Leanne Sorbello (30+ years’ experience), our service provides high-quality intervention for children aged 0–12 years across homes, kindergartens, schools, and community settings.
We offer:
Excellent supervision & mentoring Flexible hours (school hours or 4-day week) Diverse caseload (speech, language, literacy, ASD, NDIS) PD allowance + paid CPD time Supportive admin and resource systems Fully mobile or mixed mobile/clinic work Ideal for: early career clinicians seeking structure and support, or experienced therapists wanting autonomy and a stable caseload.

Requirements
. Tertiary Qualification Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology (From an ASHA-equivalent or SPA-recognised program) 2. SPA Membership Current or eligible Speech Pathology Australia membership CPSP status (or working toward it if a new graduate) 3. Professional Standards Understanding of SPA Code of Ethics Knowledge of evidence-based practice Ability to set goals, plan interventions, and document progress 4. Compliance Requirements Depending on your caseload, typically required:
Blue Card (Working With Children Check) – mandatory NDIS Worker Screening Check – if working with NDIS NDIS Worker Orientation Module (online, free) COVID vaccinations (still required in many community settings) Current driver’s licence (for mobile services) Own vehicle + willingness to travel Australian work rights (PR, citizen, or eligible visa) 5. Clinical Skills Should have (depending on level):
For all clinicians:
Assessment & therapy skills in speech, language, and communication Ability to write clear therapy notes and reports Understanding of early childhood development Familiarity with literacy/phonological awareness Ability to collaborate with teachers, early childhood educators, and families For new grads:
Willingness to learn Reflective practice skills Receptiveness to supervision
