Clinical Nephrology Faculty Position Division of Nephrology Department of Internal Medicine University of Michigan
The Division of Nephrology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible nephrologists for a full-time clinical faculty position. The academic title will be on the clinical track at a rank commensurate with experience and qualification. Primary duties of the successful candidate will include a blend of inpatient (consultative services) and outpatient (nephrology continuity clinic, specialty clinics, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis) clinical duties, depending on the interests and expertise of the successful candidate.Additional duties include education of nephrology fellows, house officers, and medical students. Opportunities to excel in research, medical education, or lead initiatives to support well-being of our patients and workforce are readily available and supported. Our clinical faculty are also active investigators in clinical and translational research, teachers in graduate and undergraduate medical education, and participate in community outreach programs, and a successful candidate will complement the breadth and depth of our faculty and our collegial, compassionate culture.
