Description
Goepfert Speech Associates, a private practice in Hershey, PA is now hiring full-time School Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking dedicated and passionate speech-language pathologists to join our team and cover school contracts for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. (Clinical Fellows Welcome!). The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy to students of all ages with communication disorders. - Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language abilities to identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique communication challenges.
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language disorders in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech and language pathology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement, as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC certification preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive culture.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for effective documentation and record-keeping.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in the field.
