Description
Job Description: The School District of Milton is seeking a skilled and dedicated educational leader to serve as Principal at Milton High School (Grades 9-12) . The Milton High School Principal provides leadership and administers the following responsibilities: educational leadership, administrative management, curriculum development and assessment, and community outreach, which leads to continued improvement in learning outcomes for all students.
This position will begin July 1, 2026 and will consist of a 260-day contract. The salary range for this position is $144,000 to $151,000 for the 2026-27 contract year. A highly competitive benefits package is also included with this position.

Requirements
Qualifications: The School District of Milton is seeking an instructional leader capable of effectively leading a dynamic team of dedicated and experienced teachers and support staff. The candidate should possess the ability to foster a professional learning community and lead staff in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students. The new leader will have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Ideal leadership experiences include best practice in: universal instruction, Equitable Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, staff supervision/evaluation practices, curriculum development and implementation, social-emotional learning, assessments, and the integrated use of instructional technology.
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education and a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Administration or Leadership is required. Prior successful experience as a classroom teacher is also required. Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification as a Principal - 5051 .
It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of five (5) years of successful public education experience and a minimum of three (3) years of successful school leadership.
