Sterling Infrastructure is looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to jump in and make an immediate impact. This is a 3-month onsite contract role based in The Woodlands, TX — perfect for a Meraki expert who loves solving complex network challenges and modernizing enterprise environments.

Position_Description :
What You'll Do
- Own and manage Cisco Meraki (MX, MS, MR) environments
- Configure VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and wireless networks
- Troubleshoot complex issues (DNS, DHCP, routing, WAN, ACLs)
- Support SD-WAN and hybrid network environments
- Lead hardware refreshes, firewall migrations, and site deployments
- Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and helpdesk teams
Position Requirements :
What You Bring
- 35+ years of network engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, routing, and enterprise networking
- Experience with firewall platforms (FortiGate, Palo Alto a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
- CCNA/CCNP or Meraki certifications preferred
