Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence 

The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), University of Macau, invites applications for the position of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Computer Science. This position intends to complement and strengthen existing staff expertise. We are seeking candidate with a proven track record in scientific research, an innovative research vision, and a commitment to education.

(1)   Computer Science (Ref. No.: FST/CIS/FAAP/09/2025)
Position will be open to all areas in Computer Science including those areas related to Networked, Mobile and Sensor Systems, Blockchain and Web3, Computer and Information Security, Agents and HCI.

(2)   Artificial Intelligence (Ref. No.: FST/CIS/FAAP/11/2023)
Preference will be given to candidates with specializations in AI for Science, or application of AI to interdisciplinary areas.

The Department of CIS offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes. UM is the only public comprehensive university in Macao. English is its working language. UM is among the top 0.1% in ESI rankings in both Engineering and Computer Science. In the THE World University Rankings, the Engineering and the Computer Science programmes are ranked among the 126th – 150th. Candidates must have an earned PhD degree in related areas. Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching experience at the tertiary education level.
