Position Summary: White Pass Elementary School is seeking an Elementary Principal to lead our
educational community. This full-time position requires a dynamic leader who will foster a positive learning
environment, support staff, and engage with students and families. The ideal candidate will be committed
to academic excellence and the holistic development of students while promoting a culture of respect,
inclusivity, and collaboration.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and vision for the school, ensuring a focus on student achievement and wellbeing.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the school community to develop and implement effective
educational programs and initiatives.
Oversee the daily operations of the school, including scheduling, discipline, and staff management.
Foster a positive school climate by promoting strong relationships among students, staff, and the
community.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal education regulations and policies.
Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff and encourage a culture of continuous
improvement.
Administer district Pre School/ECEAP program in collaboration with Centralia College.
Engage with parents and community members to promote involvement and support for school initiatives.
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support at-risk students.
Manage school budgets and resources effectively to enhance educational programs.
Act as a liaison between the school and the district, representing the needs and interests of the
Elementary school community.
Follow and implement district policies and collective bargaining agreements.
Develop master schedule to meet school, student and staff needs.
Supervise implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
Demonstrate ability and skill to successfully implement the building discipline matrix.
Observe and evaluate certificated staff performance, providing feedback and giving assistance as
needed utilizing established District evaluation processes.

Other duties as assigned by the superintendent.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
Valid administrative credential or certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational leadership or administration, preferably at the juniorsenior high level.
Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse
stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators and support staff.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
Proficient in using technology for educational and administrative purpose
