Michael Anderson Elementary is seeking a visionary, student-centered leader to foster a culture of academic excellence, emotional safety, and community belonging. Requirements
Professional Responsibilities
1. Lead Integrated Systems of Support: Utilize real-time student data to design and oversee school-wide systems that proactively address behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional needs.
2. Refine MTSS Frameworks: Lead the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), ensuring effective intervention delivery and prioritizing early intervention for all learners.
3. Cultivate Relational Trust: Build a collaborative culture characterized by mutual respect and psychological safety, where staff feel empowered to give and receive authentic feedback.
4. Support Teacher Efficacy: Act as a primary advocate for staff, providing "wraparound" administrative support and valuing teacher expertise in managing classroom dynamics.
5. Champion Military Families: Deepen the school’s connection to the military community, providing empathetic leadership that addresses the unique stressors of military-connected life.
6. Ensure Curriculum Fidelity: Oversee instructional accountability for core curricula to ensure high-quality Tier 1 instruction for every student.
7. Facilitate Professional Growth: Design and lead personalized professional development and refresher training to ensure staff are equipped with research-based instructional strategies.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Continuing contract
Salary as per the Medical Lake Administrators Salary Schedule: Range is: $132,000-$154,000 DOE
224 days of service exclusive of holidays, vacations, and any regularly scheduled school days canceled because of inclement weather or emergency.
