Clinical Child or Pediatric Psychologist
The University of Louisville School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Autism and Development Centers, in partnership with Norton Children's Medical Group, is seeking a Clinical Pediatric Psychologist.
The Norton Children's Development and Autism Centers are multidisciplinary pediatric diagnostic and treatment centers within the Division of Neurdevelopmental Science at the University of Louisville serving the state of Kentucky and surrounding region. Position responsibilities include psychological assessment of children referred for diagnostic considerations, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and Intellectual Disability. Treatment opportunities vary serving those with feeding concerns, comorbid mental concerns related to ASD such as anxiety, depression, social skills and behavioral differences. Opportunities exist for Medical School Faculty appointment and participation in psychology student training/supervision, education of pediatric residents and fellows, as well as research.
Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, an APA approved internship, one year of experience in a child clinical or pediatric psychology setting and be licensed or licensed eligible in the state of Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluation of developmental disabilities and comorbidities and the implementation of evidence-based intervention approaches with individuals and families. Additional training and interest in neuropsychological assessment of pediatric patients is desired but not required.
