Key Requirements

• Primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate English Language Arts methods courses and other courses that support the department’s English Teaching major. The successful candidate will have opportunities to shape curriculum, mentor and advise preservice teachers, and build partnerships with schools and educators throughout the region.
• This position also offers meaningful opportunities to work with educators across the career span. The faculty member may contribute to the Boise State Writing Project and collaborate with colleagues, practicing teachers, and community partners to strengthen the teaching of writing and English Language Arts. We welcome candidates whose teaching and scholarship will advance the department’s commitment to preparing reflective, knowledgeable, and responsive educators.
